To prevent the spread of the A Influenza (H1N1) - Swine Flu in Indonesia, Garuda Indonesia has taken several anticipatory measures and consulted with various airport authorities in Indonesia and in countries served by Garuda Indonesia for the handling of passengers suspected of having been infected by the virus.
Garuda Indonesia also initiates all its air crew and ground staff to be on the alert for passengers with signs of the virus' symptoms during check-in and boarding, and to carry out the necessary procedures.
