English Review :

Unlike the Holywood version that focused on love story of Benjamin Button, the real story of Benjamin Button that are published in 1922 as a short story are focusing to make the readers became more curious, the unique plot and great storytelling making this story to remarkable great in my mind. The curiousity is started when Roger Button came to hospital and found strange reaction from the nurse about his presence when he came to see his child.

Soon Roger found that Benjamin are “special” and take him home and soon the story are focused to Benjamin, from their first love and marrying Hildegarde,  the unique relationship  with Benjamin’s Son Roscoe, the birth of Roscoe’s child, and so on.....

If you haven’t read this book but already watch the movie, it should be a good agenda to grab the copy right now in Amazon or Stanza and read it untill the end. In my opinion, the original story are much better than the movie, but it’s just my personal opinion. Happy reading readers!

Kebanyakan dari kita sudah melihat versi Holywood dari film berjudul yang sama, namun sebagaimana film Holywood yang merombak cerita dengan tujuan-tujuan tertentu, maka ada baiknya bila membaca “cerita aslinya” yang terbit pada tahun 1922. Penulis cerita Benjamin Button menerbitkan buku ini pertama kali sebagai bagian dari cerita pendek yang cukup menarik dengan durasi 64 halaman.

Berbeda dengan versi Holywood nya yang mirip dengan film Forest Gump namun menggunakan inti cerita dari Benjamin Button, buku ini menggambarkan kisah hidup Benjamin Button dengan lebih terfokus pada apa yang dia alami dari keseluruhan hidupnya dan tidak terfokus pada kisah cintanya pada pasangannya.

Dalam cerita orisinilnya Benjamin Button terlahir dengan bentuk fisik pria tua dan kekuatan dari buku ini adalah dialog dan pembukaan cerita nya yang benar-benar membuat kita menjadi “Curious” ketimbang terharu dengan kisah percintaan. Dalam pembukaannya setelah kita dibuat penasaran dengan sudut pandang Roger Button yang keheranan dengan sikap para perawat rumah sakit dengannya dan mendapati anaknya yang baru lahir berwujud pria tua dan berbicara dengannya.

Selanjutnya dengan gaya pembawaan yang membuat anda benar-benar penasaran dengan apa yang terjadi dari kehidupan Benjamin selanjutnya, mulai dari bagaimana hubungannya dengan Hildegarde terbentuk, hubungannya dengan anaknya yang kurang baik karena ketika Roscoe dewasa, Benjamin dan kondisi fisiknya tidak memungkinkan Roscoe memanggilnya ayah dan mendesak Benjamin untuk melakukan sesuatu yang kurang etis dari sudut pandang kultur.

Tentu saja walau berbentuk cerita pendek, namun keseluruhan hidup Benjamin diceritakan dengan apik disini, sungguh menyenangkan melihat buku ini ternyata benar-benar berbeda dari film yang terinspirasi dari buku ini, sehingga sebagai buku yang cukup berumur, namun buku ini tetap layak dibaca dan menghibur. CNN iPod Touch/iPhone Application Reviews

I'm from Indonesia, and didn't receive any CNN Broadcast anymore since in my rent room, I'm only using analog anthena receiver for receiving the broadcast from local TV Station, and it's very helpfull to have this apps in my iPod Touch, and since iPod Touch is using the very same of operating system that currently being used by iPhone, this application work best with iPhone since you can't get the latest update everywhere....

The applicaton's is worth buying, since it's very cheap (only $1.99)...

you can read an article, news, and also watch the videos from CNN from this applications... and if you configure this applications with iReports, you can also submit a news from your phone or ipod... and since you can save the articles that you want to read later, you don't need to stay connected when you want to read the news later....
One of my favourite features is there are some menu called "My CNN" and from there I can typing my interested topics to follow and received them whenever the news came... It's really nice, and I think, I Don't need the local news papers or magazines anymore....

This apps are absolutely must have, if you like to read the news or watching them.... and not use your iPod Touch/iPhone only for games :D

Review
Berawal dari melihat film ini di situs Apple pada bagian iTunes dan melihat trailernya yang cukup “menggelitik” dan juga film ini telah cukup lama bertengger posternya di bagian “coming soon” bioskop dengan jaringan terbesar di Indonesia untuk kota Surabaya, sebenarnya saya sudah menunggu film ini sejak bulan Agustus, karena data resminya menunjukkan tanggal rilisnya yang 19 Agustus 2009, namun film ini baru premier di Surabaya baru-baru ini sehingga saya baru bisa menontonnya tanggal 21 Oktober 2009 kemarin.
Oke selain melihat betapa mahalnya Apple Inc. membayar placement promotion di film ini (yup, bagaimana mungkin diseluruh penjuru dunia bahkan hingga pedalaman Alaska, semua tempat menggunakan komputer buatan Apple Inc. kecuali satu tempat yaitu kantor imigrasi Amerika Serikat yang menggunakan PC Non Apple), kita akan melihat berbagai kekocakan yang hadir dalam film ini, film ini menceritakan tentang hubungan “dadakan” antara Margaret (Sandra Bullock) pimpinan editor sebuah penerbit yang ditakuti oleh seluruh pekerja kantornya, dan asistennya Andrew (Ryan Reynolds) yang terpaksa harus melakukan “kawin kontrak” ala Amerika Serikat untuk menghindari diri nya dideportasi kembali ke Kanada.
Sayangnya rencana mereka untuk sekedar “menikah” tidak sekedar menikah begitu saja, pihak imigrasi mencium sesuatu yang mencurigakan dari hubungan ini, sehingga akhirnya Margaret terpaksa menyetujui dan mengikuti perayaan ulang tahun Andrew di sebuah kota di Alaska demi membuat semua tampak “wajar”, dan melihat hal ini Andrew pun memanfaatkan peluang ini untuk mendapatkan apa yang ia inginkan, sehingga jadilah “kawin kontrak” yang lebih berupa deal bisnis diantara keduanya.
Tentu saja berbagai kejadian lucu terjadi diantara pasangan kilat ini, sebagian besar dari kejadian lucu ini dapat kita lihat bagaimana Margaret dan Andrew berusaha memainkan peran nya didepan keluarga Andrew, dan pada akhirnya beberapa kejadian menyentuh akhirnya mulai meluluhkan hati Margaret yang keras dan “sesuatu” terjadi, bagaimanakah kelanjutan dari hubungan saling membenci selama 3 tahun ini? Saksikan film yang romantis, kocak, dan menyenangkan ini di bioskop, dvd, atau Apple TV anda!!!

Playstation Network Indonesia

After a long wait, us gamers in Indonesia, are more getting attention from Sony Computer Entertainment Asia, and now from October 1st 2009, Indonesia have an official Playstation Network for their country....

I'm currently using PSN Network ID, and don't have a much time to create and switching for Indonesian PSN.... but some of comment from the atendance official launching, they say the price aren't right (if I can't say too high) and the Playstation Network Games in Indonesia are just to a little bit pricy/high....

So.... I'm a little bit curious, why the price are a little high than Singapore or Malaysia? Is the purpose for creating digital content download store is to cut distribution cost and production cost for package and media cost.... but why Playstation Store Indonesia are expenisive than other region???

iPod Shuffle 3G

well, after reading some articles about iPod Shuffle 3G, and as a fan
of this latest and tiniest ipod until this day, I'm feeling obligated
to write my personal opinnion about this ipod.
okay the idea to create an ipod without any button to control your
music seems to be bad for some people, but when you buying this one,
you need to understand that this ipod are designed to easily operated
when you're using your ipod when doing something else like sleeping,
jogging, or anything that not needing your attention n seeing any
display or searching your pocket to change your current track.
thanks for voice over that can make multiple playlist are posible jn
this latest ipod, because you're not gonna change your playlist, and
there are button to change track like oldest ipod shuffle, then you
cAn save your time for choosing the right playlist rather than
clicking next until the right track appears.
The apple earbud are available and it's have the remote control for
controlling your music content in this ipod, well... if you using
another headset, you still can use this ipod for listening the music,
but you'll lose your control for this ipod.
but when you're using your ipod as your friend when riding, driving,
jogging, or any place with dangerous posibility.... who needs a deAf
high quality earbud?
the controll scheme are good to, you can do all things in other ipod
for controlling in this new shuffle, it's a good gadget if you know
what you needed.
