iPod Shuffle 3G

well, after reading some articles about iPod Shuffle 3G, and as a fan
of this latest and tiniest ipod until this day, I'm feeling obligated
to write my personal opinnion about this ipod.
okay the idea to create an ipod without any button to control your
music seems to be bad for some people, but when you buying this one,
you need to understand that this ipod are designed to easily operated
when you're using your ipod when doing something else like sleeping,
jogging, or anything that not needing your attention n seeing any
display or searching your pocket to change your current track.

this latest ipod, because you're not gonna change your playlist, and
there are button to change track like oldest ipod shuffle, then you
cAn save your time for choosing the right playlist rather than
clicking next until the right track appears.
The apple earbud are available and it's have the remote control for
controlling your music content in this ipod, well... if you using
another headset, you still can use this ipod for listening the music,
but you'll lose your control for this ipod.
but when you're using your ipod as your friend when riding, driving,
jogging, or any place with dangerous posibility.... who needs a deAf
high quality earbud?
the controll scheme are good to, you can do all things in other ipod
for controlling in this new shuffle, it's a good gadget if you know
what you needed.

Apple and Blackberry? Nice Combination

Before this new software launched (Download Here) all Blackberry Users are using Windows to use Blackberry Desktop manager to sync their device to a PC, and there's only one application that can be use for doing same function which is not so reliable (Pocket Mac), now we can use our Mac computer to sync our Blackberry Device.... you can download the software, and since there are some minor damage to my Blackberry 8320 because of trying to use Pocket Mac to sync it into my Mac.... I can't make a review for using this new software, but when my Blackberry has been repaired, I'll make a full review on this site....

Another function of Apple Remote, cool presentation controlers

If you think the Apple remote isn't worth for buying (because latest models of Macbook didn't include the Apple remote in the package) because it only useful for enjoying movie in front row or controls your iTunes content and you think not to buy it because didn't care for using a remote in portable systems, then you can't say hello for easy and convenient wireless control for doing keynotes presentation in wireless and stylish way...

Yup... I didn't kidding you, it can be use for controling your slideshow in keynotes 2009 (and also 2008), but you can't use it directly in the Keynotes apps.... You need to convert the slide show into a Quicktime movie.... Place it in a folder that can be accessed by Front Row, and browse the files by using front row...

What? Are you still using Microsoft Office in MacOSX??? I hope you consider to switch to Keynotes from iLife Office Suites... Because it can give you more value added presentation in a such stylish and better way because of the animation effects and transition effects....

And the capabilities of Apple Remote are trully incredible and good, it never disapointed you, because after all... It's very responsive, and you can make your audience for your keynotes speaking give you a good respect for your slide show display... Because the quality of animation from Keynotes are cool and looks like a hard stuff to create... Especially when you work or get your education in Windows oriented environment...

Want to play your media files from your Mac? alternative solution, and this is not Apple TV,this is Playstation 3 :D

If you want to stream your media files like your musics, videos, or photos from your Mac(s) and still thinking is Apple TV worth to buy? maybe you should use your Playstation 3 (or buying it because it's more cheaper than 40Gigs Apple TV and have a blu-Ray Drive and can play games)....

There are many solution, you can buy $20 application that worthed to buy to make your Apple as a dlna capable machine. The applications is called MediaLink.

Of course both of the apps have a plus or minus, but both of them are already easy for use (and the $20 are more easier to use, the trial only can be use for streaming for 30 minutes).

iTunes 9 and Surprise in Your iPod Shuffle

Last month I'm just get my new iPod Shuffle (the 4 gigs model with silver color painted on it), the new one as you know is very small and dont have any control button in the device's body... so we can control it by only using the remote control in the headdset... the minus is we can't use the so called high qualiy third party vendor headset in this shuffle... but the plus one is you can't be totally deaf when you're using it.....

The Surprise is comming to guessing what's next in your shuffle.... although you can (now you can... yes it's true) organized your playlist... you can be also make the iTunes 9 filling your empty space with song(s) inyour itunes Library by checking in this combo box :



So... if you choose playlist "All Songs" you are listening to the playlist that you are never-ever created, sometimes, especially in my country... we store too many mp3 files in hard drive and didn't have much time to listen to them all... well with this new iPod Shuffle and iTunes 9... you can listen the "Unknon" and "Unexpected" track :D

Sometimes you don't like surprisingly momment, and if that case happen, if you prefer to hear your must favorites songs in your shuffle, then just check the Recently Played and Top Rated Playlist to sync list in your Shuffle device sync music setting.

Using Spaces to keep your desktop organized

Have you ever experienced this one? you opened to many apps in your computer, sometime you watch the report in PDF and need it to be still opened so you can quote it later easily, while working with pages 2009, and you need to switch (sometimes) to Windows XP because the Microsoft Office in Mac can't running some VBA and Macro..... and sometimes you need to explore the internet so you must keep the browser open to avoiding waiting time.... and then you'll see your desktop display will be like this one :



One thing I Like about Mac OSX Leopard (and above, since the new Snow Leopard also have this incredible features is, the existence of Spaces features for organizing your desktop when you working in your computer and using several apps for working and fun.... and to keep you working and have fun in same time is possible in Mac OSX, since you use computer that designed to working and not a computer that designed to make you tired :D

To keep your desktop organized we can combine Spaces and Exposure to making it more easier for use.... open your system preference....



Go to Expose and Spaces and click the icon to open the preference.....
And click the Spaces tab.... you can add more rows or columns to added more desktop Windows....


After that, give a come back visit to Exposure tab and set them all like this (or your favorite preferences)



Go to the screen edge where your setting can triggered the spaces apps, and you'll see all windows like this when spaces active and you use all windows event in spaces mode




And from that conditions, to make all things simple, why don't you spent a little time to organized your opened ap
plication and move all of them by dragging the application, one-by-one to another desktop, and grouping them all manualy....
Just drag and drop it....


In my example my final setting will be like this :



The Top-Left Desktop is my desktop where I'm put all my Safari Browser opened, the Right-Top is the desktop where I put other finder windows connected to anther Mac, so I Can access all old files and documents, the left-bottom desktop is the place for Windows XP VM-Ware emulation, and the last right-bottom I'm put all IM Client and mail window opened.... In this case I'm only using 2x2 size Spaces... you can add more desktop spaces n the preference.... hope this will help you to keep you organized and make your workhour fun and efficient :)
